Mini 30 Blank Adapter

Does anyone know where I can get a blank adaptor (BFA) for a new Mini 30? Does anyone even make one? Thanks.

Most blank adapters are using the flash hider for retention. If you were to add a flash hider (or compatible muzzle device), you should be able to use a blank adapter from another .30 cal rifle. I believe that will be your most accessible option.

Blank adaptors dirty up a weapon in a hurry. I don't know if you've had military experience, but I remember awful days of cleaning an M16A1 (that's how old I am), just to get it rejected time and again by the armorer, before I could turn it in and go get a beer.

After a while, we learned to spend weeks in the field without firing a single blank. We'd just yell BANG BANG instead. Yes, it's silly, but at the end of a training excercise we'd be sipping a cold one while the rest of the guys were up to their elbows in CLP.

I hated firing blanks in my M16's, they are very dirty. We just buried our blanks before we left the field.

Not me. I'd burn up every round I could get my hands on, blank or loaded. I just love to pull the trigger. Even better when you can hold it back and shoot em all at once! I kinda miss the days I spent sitting around with my platoon and cleaning weapons. We had some good times and ate a lot of pizza with those CLP coated fingers.
