Ruger service and time it takes to get rifle back?

I have called them 3 times now.

The last time was 1 week after they received my rifle. They told me they have it it is in their system, but they have not looked at it yet.

Now another week has gone by...

How long do these things take?

I am going to call again at the end of this week...

Three weeks for my firing pin repair.
Note: They didn't call or e-mail that my rifle was on the way. I called for status and was told it had shipped and was scheduled for delivery the next day.

You can complain about letting one of your blood relatives who is under 21 sign for the gun or you can just take delivery and get back to shooting. Six of one and half dozen of another. kwg

UPS alt pickup

You can also request hold for pickup at the UPS facility, from their website, with the tracking number.

was not complaining. just saying it was sad that the ups guy either wasnt paying attention or just did not care. my kids are mature enough to safely handle firearms. others may not be so lucky kids are curious by nature what if he handed it to a kid who figured what the hell dad is not home lets play gi joe. this has happened twice once from sw and now from ruger( not blaming the manufacturer). all it takes is one idiot and one curious kid to have a potential disaster.

I have had a few things delivered that were supposed to get a signature and they never did. What ticks me off even more is that a few times I or the wife have not been home and the gate is locked, beware of dog signs and a big brown dog watching the property and they toss the package over the fence. The dog loves tearing open packages that get tossed over the fence...

Well my hat is off to Ruger and their Service team.

I just got my MINI back in about a months time.

They replaced the bolt, The gas piston, and recoil spring.

I can not wait until I go out and test her.

Man it is nice to have my rifle back home.
