Check Mate Industries

I got an email from a person I know at CMI. She tells me that they have 8 different magazine projects in play now, but that the Ruger Mini-14 and Mini-30 magazines are still in their plans.
Last February, I sent her a NIB Mini-14 Mag for them to play with. I believe they will be doing something around the first of the year.
Check Mate is the current supplier for USGI M14 mags, and the factory mags for Springfield Armory. Their quality is top notch.

CMI?

Wow!

That would really be great.

CMI could make them as good or better than factory Ruger, I think.

hopefully CMI will produce M30 20 rd mags. USA brand can be made to do OK but a good fabricator can make this fairly simple magazine failure proof. ProMag has good 10 rd mags at least the ones I have are.

Please Ask Them To Expedite The Manufacture. I Am Afraid In The Not To Distant Future We May Not Have The Option To Purchase High Capacity Magazines. Has There Been Any Word From Cproduct Magazines?

Trust me Jay, I discussed this with them in February and last week. They realize that there is a large market AT THIS TIME, especially for the Mini-30 20 round magazines.

Thumbs up C.m.i.

C.M.I. makes excellent 20 and 25 round USGI mags for the M14.
They also make 2nd gen 20 and 25 round mags for the AR-10.
The quality is outstanding ~ the mini-14/AC 556 deserve high quality mags

I've purchased many CMI M-14 20rd magazines for my M1A. All of them have worked perfectly and flawlessly, just like my old USGI Surplus Mags that I have purchased.

I would like to see CMI Make 20rds and 30rds for the Mini-14. I believe they would make a quality product that would work just as well as the factory magazines.

Right Now I only purchase for my mini-14, factory 20rd mags, and Pro-Mag 20rd Metal Mags. Those are the only mags that I have found that feed properly in my Mini-14.

I have yet to buy 30rds because of the cost of the ruger factory mags. I don't want to go out and waste money on a aftermarket 30rder and have it become a paperweight.

thanks for the follow-up, link and your time in corresponding with them Warlock. I'm definitely looking forward to having 3-4 of those mags. 20 rounders are fine for my planned use and possible SHTF.

My guess is that CMI will wait to see how the political climate goes and how well CProducts Mini-14/30 mags sell.

IF the CProducts mags get to market, that is...

"Aye, there's the rub."
I haven't heard peep from anyone at PMI for awhile, either.
