I kinda like how on my mini after the last round the bolt locks open. Is there a way to reliably do that with a 10/22?

These guys make one, but can only work with modified mags. I thought about doing it, but it is a kind of a solution to a problem that doesn't exist, IMO. Definitely cool, but the 10/22 was designed to be dry fired safely. And the thought of modifying all my mags or buying new ones doesn't feel right.

That mod AFAIK is so the bolt can be released one handed. I was wondering about a setup where the bolt locked back after the last bullet was ejected.

Ok I see, yes that mod makes bolt release a one handed affair. I thought you guys were saying the mod has a negative effect on the firing pin.

Yeah I don't like that mod. Hoping for something diff. I know it doesn't "matter" but I like it on my mini. Want the same on the 10/22

I think you may be SOL unless you're willing to use modified mags. Don't quote me, but, I believe a unmodified mag will not even function with the bolt stop installed. Too bad, cause I might bite if they could be used simultaneously.
