Can you buy the Walmart Special barrel the 22" model as an aftermarket part? If so what is the price?I bought a brand new gun at Walmart and the manual that comes with the gun does not even have the barrel listed in it with a part number.
You could probably get one from Ruger directly. But it you research a bit on rimfirecentral, you could probably get other aftermarket barrels. Green Mountain, VQ, etc.
Yes I own it.I was just wondering the cost of an extra barrel.Seems that nobody including the factory has a clue about it.I guess Walmart bought the guns and the info.Any particular reason you needed to know if I owned it? What does that really have to do with my origional question.
You had me wondering if something had gone wrong with the original 22-inch barrel, thus requiring a replacement...guess not...didn't mean to pry..good luck.
Barrel lengths for the Ruger 10/22 off the top of my head, 16-18-20-22 in.
wheather from the factory or not ????.
If asking Ruger as to barrels, Special run productions might get more info.
plus S/N of your gun and who you purchased your gun from. I have seen
Walmart guns, and some large sports chains also have sold Ruger 10/22
with various length barrels not mentioned in the owners manuals.
Take a look at Rimfirecentral.com and post an ad that you're looking for that barrel. I'd bet you'll find one pretty quick, as most of the guys over there replace them with aftermarket barrels.
