Yes you can make an "auto bolt release". It is easy to do. The how to is in the Tips & Tricks section. Or you can by one for about $10. It allows you to to use the bolt stop, but just pull back on the cocking handle and it automaticly releases.
I have a 10/22 "Rifle" it has the deluxe stock and a 22" barrel. I believe the new ones, now have a 20" barrel vs 18" for the carbine.
No no... I want to know if I can somehow have an Automatic Bolt Stop (Stays open after last shot), AND a bolt release. I have a bolt release right now, but I want a bolt stop also.
As long as I can somehow modify my magazines, especially high-cap, I think that would be fine! Do you know where I can find out how to modify them to work with that? And thank you very much!

Thank you, Signed,

If you hold a Std Ruger mag up to the pic of the modified mag you can see the difference. It looks like the upper aft part of the lip is dremmeled off to make room for the new mechanism. Also it states part of the socket screw will have to be dressed down. If you bought one it looks like you could modify your own magazines. The bolt stop comes with 1 modified magazine. Here is a description and pic of how they modify the magazine. http://www.cstmtech.com/index.php3?pageid=48
From what they said the plastic lip mags won't work, but it may be possible for the Butler creek steel lip to be modified?
