I’m excited about this new section. This is a how-to improve our 10/22’s complete with pictures. Now a word of caution:

I have completed each of these mods to at least 1 of my 10/22s‘. I have attempted to list step by step as best as I can recall. Please do not blame me if I have left out a step or two, or you miss a step or two, and you screw your rifle up! Attempt these at your own risk!!!!

Before attempting each mod assess your own abilities, and tools at hand.

Most importantly remove magazine, clear chamber, and put safety on. Above all else keep muzzle always pointed in a safe direction.

The First rule of safety: There is no such thing as an empty gun!

This will be a work in progress for some time as there are many Tips, Tricks, and Mods for the Worlds Most Customized Rifle the Ruger 10/22.

A note from the Administrator:

Only Moderators can open new topics here. The idea is that if a great tip is posted in the main 10/22 forums, a moderator can copy it here. If everyone could post, we'd get a lot of garbage advice or discussion here, and this is just the bare Tips and Tricks.
