bought a box of these standard velocity (500 rnds.) yesterday in Tucson for $15.00 , musta felt rich at the moment, are they any good for accuracy? if not and i just laid out half of my income for no aparent reason, its ok to point it out hehe. my excuse would be " but it was a pretty box "

Well, what I know is that they look very pretty but they sure leave
your action dirty and smell weird when shot

Try them and see how they shoot in your barrel. I keep putting off ordering me some match ammo. The match is more consistent than regular ammo.

cant seem to really make up my mind about aguila. if groups stay the same, the dynapoints would still be my choice simply because of availability and cost. aguila are expensive compared to dynapoints.
picture results of groups are in gallery under bentbarrels shooter. take a peek and tell what you think of aguila super extra and dynapoint comparison.

I looks like the Dynapoints shoot tighter groups in your rifle, and like you said they are cheaper. Now let me ask Have you freefloated the barrel, bedded the stock, and experimented with a tunner or pressure pad? These "may" enhance the difference between STD ammo, and Match.

cajungeo, due to laziness, buzziness, forgetfulness and sleepiness. i haven't bedded the stock or messed with a tuner yet. the barrel is not touching any wood at all which aint real good on the reciever, but i did put some .22 box flap thickness cardboard under the end of the barrel for support. seems to not hurt any thing right now. not sure if i will get another stock for this or just repaint what came with the 10/22. might even wrap and glue some burlap sprayed with camo paint around the whole thing and make it uglier hehehe.
when i get back to my regular job i will have the time to mess with it, for now i get time to go shoot for an hour or so and then back to the real world.
for the time being i have to settle for shootin lil groundsquirrels while at work with .45 Colt or .44 mag. or .41 mag. the bullets outweigh the animal hehe. but what a blast.

I did the same thing for a long time till I made a tuner. I got tired of other shooters coming up looking at my beautyful 10/22, then look at the cardboard sticking out. Functionally it worked as well as the tunner though.

Look, I have no interest in offending anyone, and I have no problem with people shooting game for food or to eliminate pests eating up their crops, but if you're just blowing away harmless little critters for your own perverse amusement, I sure wish you'd keep it to yourself, because behavior like that really gives gun owners a bad name, and turns my stomach as well. A lot of us think of killing for fun as sick behavior, and we'd appreciate it if you stuck to topic and left this stuff out of your posts, because some of us WILL be offended.
