Then, folks, might i suggest for your quick research:
1. Was there, an air rifle, carried on the Louis and Clark Expedition? If so, what was it?
2. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, in of his stories, had as a 'tool of demise', (an air rifle of such capacity, that it was used to put down tigers being hunted in India), but was used by a henchman of that Dr. Moriarty. Was that a true design, or an author's alliteration of a more common design, written into the story?
As you can see ... neither design was meant to be used by, ahem, children.
