I figured it was about time I tried a long distance 30-30 shot with my relatively new peep sight.


I was thinking it was further than it was when I was setting the target up.

I also thought I missed by more than I did at first, so I adjusted down too much for the second shot. Viewing the shot through the camera's display can be deceiving.

Specifics:
Winchester 94AE Ranger, 30-30
Nosler 150gr ballistic tip boat tail, BC .435, (Loaded singly directly into the chamber.)
CCI 200 primer
Varget, 32.5gr
Winchester case shot 19 times, annealed twice

The drop was over 13 feet.
