First gun I ever shot was at 7 yrs old and was a JC Higgins/Sears 103.18 which was really a rebranded Marlin 100. Single shot bolt action .22 LR. First I owned was a Savage .22 LR semi auto with the tube feed. First non .22 was my 186 Mini 14.
Still have the Mini 14 and when my Dad passed the 103.18 became mine as well. Getting ready to teach my kids to shoot and the first gun will be the same 103.18!
First shot...dad's Remington 511 bolt action. Great gun, super accurate.
First owned...Ruger Mk I 22 pistol that my dad bought for me when I was 12. It got stolen when I was in graduate school and I replaced it with a Mk II.

First gun not an air rifle, BB gun, cork gun, dart pistol cap pistol or water gun was a Winchester Model 62 at a shooting gallery at a carnival run by a neighbor of ours. I got lucky and won a cigar but being 11 years old ma wouldn't let me keep it.
First gun I ever owned was an $18 .303 Jungle Carbine that had been "Sporterized by somebody with a hack saw and bastard file. It shot fine but was a little hard on the eye brows with it's muzzle blast and cost of ammo.
second gun was a Savage single shot bolt action 22 that I paid $28 for. I still have that one and it still shoots better than I do. This is a target I shot with it last summer at 25 yards. That old gun and I have taken a lot of small game since 1964.
first one i ever shot was this winchester 1904 (bottom) which i have since inherited from my grandfather. he taught me to shoot on this one.
first one i owned was a winchester 290 which i also still have. it was a b-day present from the same grandfather. the winchester 67 also pictured above came from, you guessed it, my grandfather! its a tack driver too.
since you don't actually know any of these guys, of what value are the answers to this question? I am curious as to why anyone would be curious about this? get enough guys on the forum, and every gun ever made will eventually be the answers.
First gun I ever shot was the first I ever owned - a Remington Model 514 single shot, bolt action .22. Back in the late 1950s/early 60s I'd take it to the town dump and plink at cans, bottles and rats. Still have it but I must confess I didn't take very good care of it over the years.

The first gun I ever shot was a 22lr converted 1911 pistol at my father's friends cabin. I was probably around 10 or 12 at that point. Followed by some Boy Scout 22lr peep sight bolt guns, and a 50cal muzzle loader.
I had a firearm-deprived teen years and early 20s, where I spent most of my time mountain biking and in school. I'm sad to say I owned my first rifle when I was 29, a Marlin 795. Four later and I'm never looking back
First gun ever fired was a .243, and I have no idea of what make. My dad didn't shoot, and the guy next door didn't have a son. So he took me along, and we sighted his scope in at some clay banks in an old quarry in the Hudson Valley in upstate NY, then on weekends we'd go plinking woodchuck across the river.
First guns I ever owned, and still do, an S&W 6904 9mm pistol, and Mini-14, both purchased same day from the same guy, back in '89.
The first firearm I ever shot was a 'Peacemaker style' .357 mag when l was about 12 - and from that moment on - l was hooked. A couple/few years after that l mowed yards all summer and purchased a Ruger Super Blackhawk revolver - that l still have. Things have progressed since then and l own many different firearms in many different styles. My favorite long gun is of course my M1A and my favorite handgun is a Dan Wesson .44 mag with interchangeable barrels. I still have the Ruger though and several .45s a .40 S&W a .38 and 2 shotguns - a Mossberg 500 for personal defense and a twice barrel 16 gauge that l hunt birds with, when l get the opportunity.
l think one of the best firearms l ever fired was my Grandfathers Belgian Browning .22 auto rifle. One of the first times l ever fired it, l shot a bottle cap at about 30 feet. I couldn't even see the cap behind the front sight - so l would lower the sight and then raise it on the cap...several times before l squeezed of a round that pegged it just off center.
l work with the military as a contractor. l enjoy shooting sports - but stopped hunting long ago - well game animals anyway, l still love to bird hunt.
An old Mossberg target .22lr rifle at scout camp. I would imagine a 44US, CMP rifle. They had magwells so we had to load them carefully single-shot, and then to empty you would hold your hand over the loading port, move bolt back, and the empty would drop down through the magwell, so that you didn't launch empty brass to the scout next to you. I remember one kid who couldn't grasp the concept and also was trying to shoot using only the front sight...He probably should have never been allowed to touch a gun again, to be honest.
I had a 144LS a few years back, and that is how I shot it 99% of the time. It was like second nature the first time I took the gun to the range! I wish I had held onto it, for whatever reason I needed money
First one I shot was a single shot Remington .22 that my dad had. I was about four or five. He only let me shoot his guns when he was around. So as a kid I went through a lot of BB's taking out frogs and water bugs on the farm pond. Later making my own stick bows for hunting squirrel, rabbit and pheasant.
The first firearms I bought were a Mossberg 590A1 and Rossi 6" .357 Magnum. I bought them the same day. I don't have them anymore, but the ideology lives on. I went through the whole wonder 9mm phase, then to .45's. Likewise I had a lot of auto shotguns, including some Saiga-12's, AK's, AR's. But then I came back to 357 revolvers.
My two favorite and most commonly used firearms are my 3" SP101 and Mossberg 835.
I also have some AR's in non-standard calibers, specifically geared for hunting, and I would like to pick up a lever rifle in .357 yet. Aside from that I am very satisfied with using a .357 for nearly all purposes anymore.
First gun fired was my dad's Marlin model 60 .22. I probably started shooting that at around 8 or 9 years old. I still own it and would be the gun I would choose if I had to pick just one. I have a lot of love and memories assigned to it.
First gun owned was an original, in the box with papers, Armalite AR-7 .22. I did some major demolition work for a guy who was remodeling his business. I took the rifle as partial payment for services. I was 14 years old.
The first handgun I fired was a Colt 1911-A1 .45. I was 11 and it bruised my thumb, split my eyebrow and almost broke my wrist. I learned respect for firearms and the need to learn, practice and maintain proper safety procedures.
I was 14 when I fired a .22LR nine-shot revolver. From there, my parent's friend let me fire his 9mm Glock and .223 rifle, and finally, a 12 gauge Mossberg 500.
I was so impressed by the power of a shotgun my Father ended up buying me one about a month later, a Mossberg 500.
