I have a Ruger SS .357 New Model Blackhawk that is marked "MADE IN THE 200th YEAR OF AMERICAN LIBERTY". It is probably around 95% as it has been fired, but hardly shows it. The only marks on it are on the cylinder where the pawls have dragged on it.
I am considering giving it to my grandson (My hunting buddy) as a graduation present from college next year and am wondering what the retail value might be. I have only fired it less than a hundred times as I am mostly into shooting rifles and an occasional semi-auto pistol.
Any information would be appreciated as I know the pistol is worth several hundred dollars, but want to give him something that he will appreciate for many years.

No, I have not. The closest that I found was a similar one on Gunbroker for around $650 (asking price) but it was not the annivesary edition.
