I am soooooo happy with a deal that I found today at a local shop. I picked up a Ruger SP 101 in 22lr for $300 +tax. It is used but absolutely flawless. The cylinder, barrel, finish and grips are all 100% perfect.
I have been looking for one of these for a couple years now for the right deal and today it showed up. Good things do come to those who keep looking!
CONGRATS on finally getting your .22 caliber SP101.
I'll bet it's a sweet shooter.
$300. sounds like a decent price too. Feel free to post up images of it, I'd love to see it.

Thanx Ballenxj. It is a really substantial feeling .22. The double action trigger is not nearly as smooth as my Smiths but it was worlds better than the Taurus .22s that I have handled. The single action is very nice. Crisp, clean and smooth.
The hammer is tough on the thumb too but, she is brand spanking new and I am hoping it will smooth out as the round count adds up. No photos or shooting reports yet but, coming soon.
The SP 101 is a great revolver i own one in 357 they are built like tanks, shooting .22lr out of it will give it the recoil of a water gun  Have fun thats a rare find.
That is a tremendous price in my opinion. The ones I see on Gunbroker seem to go for 500.00 and up, when they get that high I would prefer the single six. Congratulations on your new gun,
That is a really really great deal on SP-101 in 22lr.
Yeah, they go for $450.00 to $550.00 on Gunbroker when you see them.
Congrats.
