Cool moon clips

I have a S&W 625 Mountain gun in 45 colt and wanted to try some moon clips. I picked some of the moon clips up today at a local shop that usaully knows it stuff but they do not fit. Now I am sure I can force them in but is that neccessary or am I being a complete idiot. The last is possible it has been a long weekend.

moon clips

are for rimless cartridges like 45 acp. if you try to use them on 45 colt you will not have enough room between the breech face and the rear of the cylinder to close. these should be used only in revolvers designed to shoot rimless calibers such as 9mm and 45acp.
