Just received SPRS ("Striker Plate Rail System") for standard frame 1911 (WILL fit double-stack, i.e. Paraordnance P14). I LOVE this thing!
Have been looking for "non-destructive" means of attaching a light rail to a standard Model 1911, and to my knowledge there are no "other" alternatives, i.e., drilling, screwing, tapping.
Fit IMMEDIATELY, worked PERFECTLY, looks GREAT!
I cannot believe the price (175.00). Almost too good to be true!
Am NOT an active shooter anymore ("retired" re-loader). After 50 years of active shooting, just wanted some quick and easy way to put a light on any of my standard 1911' s, and THIS IS IT. Living alone, I am now much more comfortable with my night "watchman" partner.
