Benhazi---"A Bump in the Road"...poem
Reply to an E.
Bob, that makes me mad as h--- all over again. For a “leader” to let men die w/o easily helping them is inexcusable and traitorous. Thank you so much for the poem. Am going to save, send, and post it in a half dozen sites. That POS we have for a prez has a lot to answer for, WC
A BUMP IN THE ROAD
I am not sure we will ever know what actually went on during the Benghazi
fiasco....just like fast and furious and so many other things the main
stream media don't want out to protect their Obama. It is a total
political mess to be sure..... you will remember Obama calling the
Benghazi incident "just a bump in the road" in his speech.
This poem was written by a MARINE CORPS Officer (ANONYMOUS).
The Battling Bastards of Benghazi
We're the Battling Bastards of Benghazi,
no fame, no glory, no paparazzi.
Just a firey death in a blazing hell,
defending the country we loved so well.
It wasn't our job, but we answered the call,
fought to the consulate, 'n scalled th' wall.
We pulled twenty countrymen from the jaws of fate,
led them to safety, 'n stood at th' gate.
Just the two of us, 'n foe by th' score,
but we stood fast to bar th' door.
We called for reinforcement, but it was denied,
so we fought, 'n we fought, 'n we fought, 'n we died.
We gave our all for our Uncle Sam,
'n Obama didn't give a damn,
just two dead SEALS, who carried the load,
no thanks to us, we were just "bumps in the road"
