Wouldnt suprise me, I mean we are already giving them free health care, free schooling, in state tuition rates, WIC, Food Stamps, Section 8 housing, SS benefits (since they worked under your SSN for a while), excempion fprm the need to hold a valid drivers license and insurance when operating a motor vehicle, might as well give them a good paying government job at tax payer expense too, so they can get the whole enchilada for something next to nothing. Who ever says crime doesnt pay obviously wasnt an illegal alien!

“Reportedly, the military is already actively recruiting young illegal immigrants. How many? “Nobody knows,” says Flavia Jimenez, an immigration policy analyst at the National Council of La Raza. “But what we do know is that recruiters may not be up to speed on everybody’s legal status. … We also know that a significant number of [illegals] have died in Iraq.” The recruitment of illegal immigrants is particularly intense in Los Angeles, where 75 percent of the high school students are Latino. “A lot of our students are undocumented,” says Arlene Inouye, a teacher at Garfield High School in East Los Angeles, “and it’s common knowledge that recruiters offer green cards.” Inouye is the coordinator and founder of the Coalition Against Militarism in Our Schools (CAMS), a counter-recruitment organization that educates teenagers about deceptive recruiting practices. “The practice is pretty widespread all over the nation,” she says, “especially in California and Texas. … The recruiters tell them, ‘you’ll be helping your family.’”

sooo.....the "government jobs" are that they are volunteering to fight and die under our flag, to serve our country, and do what it takes to be good citizens. I have no problems with that, there was a few illegals in bootcamp (late 70's) when I was in the service, they bleed and serve no differently.

Are we a country of laws or not?
There were illegals when I was in, the "problem" was long b4 President Obama. I would worry about more important things

When the laws are not on your side, argue emotions.
I have no problem with obedience to the law. But to place blame on this administration while ignoring the fact it has been a common practice since we increased our intrusions into other countries affairs is hypocritical. And like the practice of having illegals do our dirty work, what makes this so different? The title of the OP is disengenous to say the least.

Past admins have always looked the other way concerning illegals. We all know that. It appears to me and many others that this admin is openly encourging illegals to come to the US.
its all about votes. politicians are more concerned with aquiring votes to keep their jobs than they are with doing whats best for the country. if that means ignoring laws already on the books or writing new ones to best suit their needs, they see no problem with that. does anybody REALLY think that there are any politicians in washington who honestly give a rats ass about illegals? no, its about pandering to the latino's who vote to get their support....
Wait till our boy Romney gets in , might be awhile as no doubt he'll out source everything like they did at BAIN !
When I was in the Corps , back in '69 = '71 , there were alot of hispanics in , fresh from down south , they had to learn english as all orders were givin in that only and if they got an honorable discharge while serving three years or more and where still alive , they would be given citizenship ( what a deal , as the Corps lost more dead in Vietnam than during all of WW2 ) !
Note ; I got drafted ( Army sergeant down at the induction center said it was my lucky day as the Marines wil get me ) and guess they weren't getting enough bodies at times to feed their war machine !

That negotiatioin for citizenship sure seems fair to me,as long as they understand what it meant!I/We also had non english speaking latino troops in the navy, and when they got together it was like a laraza meeting, and nothing would get done because of the language barrier. They also had some of the highest criminal and brig time stats.Yes-what we need in our military is more non english speaking immigrants from 3rd world countries that have very litlle consideration for laws,to mix with the new "out of the closet recruits",to act as our world ambasidors. We might as well just import them from zimbabwe,or the nicaraguan armies,Or the mexican federales!
