I'm worried that the liberal media isn't going to let him get anywhere near the whitehouse. I expect to see them go into full attack mode.
It's already started but I think Ryan is not the type to just sit back and take it and I also think the left will have a hard time finding any dirt to use against him.
What better way to get a thorn in the flesh out of the way than to make him a V.P. He will not be so effective (if elected) as he is now. Things are not always as they seem.

It's time for the CEO and the CFO to take on the Marxist and the Hair Club for Men's spokesman.
Ryan will destroy Biden in the debates. I'm doubting Biden will even show-up.
This VP-pick solidifies the Republican ticket, and further coalesces the base around Romney.
BTW, if anyone thinks that Ryan can't "bring it" to the prez, watch this:
Ryan runs circles around ANYONE in that room, including the POTUS. And, you can see the frustration when the Marxist realizes who he's up against. Clearly, Ryan hits a nerve.
Here's the best part...with the only chance left to squash Obamacare being directly tied to this election's results, who better to make the argument AGAINST Obamacare than the man who understands the financials better than anyone, even those who sat in that room that day...including our dear Nobel Laureate president, who is the self-proclaimed "smartest man in the room".
The lib-progs will be going stark-raving mad over this.
Go get 'em boys...1600 Pennsylvania Avenue awaits the return of true leaders.
Presumably this could be the first "Presidentia"l decision that Romney makes ...I think it is spot on and indicates that he actually does want to fix the economy. Paco's video is telling ..You can see that Obama has a glazed over look in his eyes ...All he knows is the ideology not the details aurrounding this disaster he has put upon us .
“Two novels can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world.
Why do the Republicans want to give the presidency to the Democrats ?
A. They know they can't win.
B. They know the economy is still in bad shape, in no small measure due to their own past policies and present obstruction. They've put a lot of political capital into portraying Obama as ineffectual in dealing with the economy, and perceive four more sluggish years with Obama at the helm could work to their advantage in 2016.
C. They watch the polls as closely as anyone, and see the election slipping from their grasp. They know Paul Ryan's budget is anathema to most Americans over 60, most Catholics, and nearly all Americans with a sense of fairness. With the choice of Paul Ryan Republicans are all but conceding defeat, but by offering up a still youngish Paul Ryan now, they think that if the economy remains bad or gets even worse, desperate younger Americans may vote for Ryan-style severe austerity in 2014 and 2016. But most young Americans who vote are not susceptible to today's right wing ideology. There are far better alternatives to the economic crisis than another round of the long discredited Voodoo Economics.
That's my take on it. As an attempt to perpetuate a failed ideology a while longer, it's not a bad plan, but where they go wrong is, as they always do, in the fundamental bankruptcy of their economic theory. They're right about the national debt being a huge impediment to economic growth and security. But they miss so much else. We need an economy that works for most Americans, not just the capitalist mafia. We need federal programs (call them whatever, it doesn't matter) to transition from our dependence on non-renewable, massively polluting energy sources to renewable less-polluting sources and technologies. The government developed nuclear energy, the space program, and initiated the computer revolution, and there is no reason why the government shouldn't kickstart the green energy revolution, other than the fact that the bloated oil and coal industries and their mostly Republican allies stand in the way.
We need to completely drop the tax cuts for the rich and do away with their tax shelters and dodges. And completely outside the tax structure, the plutocrats have a thousand and more tricks to siphon resources from the rest of us. Today's Republicans are livid about Elizabeth Warren's Consumer Finance Protection Bureau. Why? Because today's Republicans side with the big banks that prey with fine print and legalese on ordinary Americans.
Today's Republicans side with polluters like BP, Chevron, and Massey Coal. Today's Republicans side against consumers, and with Monsanto and Koch Industries and every other corporation that puts plutocratic profit ahead of Americans' health and right to know what's in the food and other products they purchase. And what that garbage coming out of nearby sewers and smokestacks into their water and lungs really consists of. Today's Republicans intend to win by brute force, the force of the police and military, against the rest of us. They are for the 1%, and only for the 1%. Democrats are by and large a sorry lot, but at least there is some hope with them. With sufficient popular pressure, most Democrats can be persuaded to do the right thing and spite corporate lobbyists. Not so most Republicans.
History explains how this all came to pass. All one need do to understand, is read and watch.
Be sure to remind everyone of that whenever you capitalist wankers whine about how bad America has become and how much better authoritarian China is.
For to the capitalist, the real measure of a society's value is the firmness of the thumb on the workers and the readiness and willingness of the state to do violence against the workers on behalf of the capitalist.
That's why I purchase from China, in fact what I am importing is no longer made in the un-united states simply because the manufacturing costs are too high.
My own country drove me to another country, (so I could build on an idea and start my own business).
But wait a minute folks,,,, I thought that was what america was supposed to be about?
Are the Chinese workers paid a living wage (by Chinese standards)?
If you were doing the work, what would you think of the working conditions?
Would an informed person have cause for concern about water and air pollution from the manufacturing facility?
Too bad, I looked for somebody to buy from right here, first.
Nobody wants to get robbed by the us government anymore for making something here, and especially when they blow money like it's invisible, and then expect the working people to pay for their debt. Unbelievable.
16 trillion in debt and we have nothing to show for it above and beyond anyone else, well we do have the worlds largest social entitlement programs.
China is exploiting workers because of its Marxist principles ..bot because of its new found Capitalism
The Utopia of equali distribution of wealth is a myth..
In every society there are haves and have nots .. the difference is that the state determines the winnners and losers rather than the individual..
The US is quite screwed up right now admiitedly but the problems can be fixed by bringing people back in to the system not by destroying it ..
Why do people still want to come here ? It is because it is still the land of Milk and Honey ..We just need to get the current Potus and Democratic party out of the way ..
Freesw the Gullible's blather in No. 16 and No. 18 above is both stupid and deceitful. It's about the worst performance he's ever managed here.
The Republican ticket isn't perfect. I could do with out Romney rather than Ryan, personally. But, anyone who would prefer what the Democrats are serving up and who intend to vote for them can only be ignorant or evil. That's all. There are no other ways to describe voters who would pull the lever for Obama and Biden.
Why do people still want to come here ? It is because it is still the land of Milk and Honey ..We just need to get the current Potus and Democratic party out of the way ..
It's fading fast, the land of milk and honey used to be for those of us who wanted to earn it. Today we see it in reverse, it's quickly the land of free milk and honey at the exploitation of the american worker/tax payer.
