Either she had never seen the footage in its entirety (irresponsible and highly doubtful), or (and this is much more likely) the footage was intentionally and deceptively edited in an attempt to smear Romney in the same way they did George H.W.

I wish I could say that this was a retraction. Or that it was an apology to Mitt Romney and the unfortunate viewers of MSNBC. It was neither.

And in Fox's case, this is only one of many wrongs. Media Matters has documented scores if not hundreds of examples.
