Another dumb punk kid finds out the hard way that crime does not pay.
What a waste, and I totally blame his role models in the media. This kid at 13 should be out sneeking a peek at Playboy or playing video games, not robbing a couple at gunpoint.
What is absolutely scary is put this dead punk into a gang of 30 friends, and he becomes a serious threat to security of anyone around them.
When you know it is bad you shouldnt do it so mom or dad forgot to tell him
I think thats the biggest problem with young black americans today. They dont have very much guidance from mom or dad. They are more influenced by friends and gangbangers than anyone else. I would speculate most of the friends are gangbangers or accociates of. Its sad to see kids being killed in armed robbery attempts but its even more sad that a 13yr old kid is doing something like that.
Another one bites the dust
Another one bites the dust
And another one gone and another one gone
Another one bites the dust
Hey i'm gonna get you too
Another one bites the dust
I don't understand what you mean.
My Mother and Father would exchange their lives unconditionally for any one of their kids. No loving parent I know would choose to outlive their child.

You got that right. Unfortunatly not everyone feels that way. As a parent, when you see one of your kids getting a little off track you do whatever is necessary to get them back on track. A 13yr old boy should never be at a point in his young life that he attempts armed robbery. Whoever the parent or guardian of this kid is they should be charged with child endangerment or neglect or something.

i hope Alabama has a law against civil suits in cases involving affirmed self-defense. Otherwise, you can bet Momma's activist buddy at her side in the photo will have her lawyered up in a heart beat.

Instead of guiding their kids in the right direction many fill their young heads with things like "it's all the white man's fault". This creates a lifelong scapegoat for all of their problems and an outlet for their rage and anger. It is self inflicted propaganda and it will never help them to escape their problems because their efforts (if any) are misguided. They are brought up to think that they will never succeed, they will always be treated unequally, and that there is little that can be done about it, except complain of course.
I did some mischievous things when I was a kid, but I never did anything that would put me away. I knew better than to jeopardize my future and my freedom on a silly mistake or a split second decision.

It's not just young black kids, it's young white kids, brown kids, asian kids. I'm going to be 51 this month and most kids today are not raised the same way I was.

I agree. Too much has changed for my kids to be raised like I was but they can still have a good upbringing and become good, productive citizens of this country. I have a 22yr old daughter, a 16yr old daughter, and a 14yr old son. The oldest had a scholarship to become a RN but she wanted to be a cosmotologist. I wasnt happy at first but she has graduated and is working her ass off right now. Im proud of her, she is a good kid and doesnt ask for anything. The other two are in high school but dont give me or anyone else any problems. My 16yr old girl besides being in the band works at dairy queen so she can make her own money. My 14yr old son is 6'4'' plays basketball, tennis, and is a trainer, which is what he wants to be after college. Ive never been hard on my kids but Ive been fair and honest with them. I never let them shirk their responsibilities. They realize to get anywhere in life you have to put some sweat equity into it. They seem to have understood that and I couldnt ask for more as a parent.
Ooops! I guess that didnt quiet go as planned...did it? I guess there is an upside to everything, tax payers wont be on the hook for housing him on an all expenses paid vacation at a state or federal corrections facility the rest of his life.
You know...I remember a time when stupidity used to hurt, there was a lot less of it back then!

Fair and honest and don't let them shirk their responsibilities -- words to live by.
