Justice Department files objection to Texas voter ID law
The Justice Department is objecting to a new photo ID law in Texas for voters, saying the state has failed to demonstrate that the the law is not discriminatory by design against Hispanic voters.

The department's head of the civil rights division, Tom Perez, wrote a a six-page letter to Texas' director of elections saying that Texas has not "sustained its burden" under Section 5 of the Voting Rights Act to show that the new law will not have a discriminatory effect on minority voters. About 11 percent of Hispanic voters reportedly lack state-issued identification.

I live in Alabama and I have always had to show my I.D. when I vote. Only illegal's with no form of I.D. would be against this.

That's a lot of votes for the communist kenyan party to lose, it's also another reason for texas separate from the federal communist government.

I think Texas should be the first to step away from the nonsense that is DC, and tell Holder and Obama to shove it up their Libral bung holes.

What would Holder do? Sue them? Throw out the Federal court/judges in Texas.

Followed by all Federal employees in Texas. (Re-hire those the State needs, and let the rest know they should be happy, as Obama has 99 weeks of "work" for them to do.)

What would Obama do?

Nothing. Not a thing. Texas could crank up it's oil production, drilling and refiners to full speed. Same goes with tens of thousands ofher things that the Feds limit, and that Texas could, and should do to create jobs, promote wealth and the welfare of it's citizens.

Want to think about how many other States would follow suit? LOL

Not an outright leaving the union, but saying "Nope, not going to play your stuipd Liberal games anymore." and when DC returns to American values, and honors the 10th Amendment, we will be happy to work with DC again.

I could see 26 or more States that would jump on that bandwagon in short order.

The statement United we stand, divided we fall has never been more true than it is today.

Yet we have the POTUS out spreading CLASS WARFARE and DIVISION with his every breath.

A POTUS who wants to DIVIDE the citizens of this country.

Wake up my fellow Americans, and let's find common ground that we can work together on, not angry calls for the rich to pay their fair share, companies to pay their fair share, or painting this false reality that anyone with money is evil, and the poor are stepped on by the rich.

That my friends is how you get people riled up to riot. NOT how you build concensus, and run a prosperous country.

That Obama can't see this is painfully clear.
Or he just does not care?

Either way, it's time he is sent packing back to Chicago where he can nurse his failure with his radical buddies.
