Frankly, I believe if we had to the chance to ask our founding fathers their feelings on the matter, they would fully support the notion that sometimes it is necessary for honorable men to shed their blood in order to oppose a tyrannical government. In fact, that was the commitment the founders gave themselves to forge this great nation.
Again, I believe that while the gun-grabbing crowd will never rest, the Second Amendment WILL prevail. But, that being said, all us us who stand vigilant and watching, so that the Second Amendment will be there for our sons and daughters, must never take anything for granted. We must never allow tyranny to stand.
Unfortunately, if there ever does come a day when the hubris of any government official, dictator, bank-puppet, or government organization/body tries to deny us our right to keep and bear arms, it will be a sad day indeed. Predictably, there will be many patriots who will die for their freedoms that day, just as our forefathers did at the birth of this nation. But, every generation will know what was fought for and WON as a result.

I believe our 2nd amendment rights are secure for the duration of this reign of terror (klinton learned the hard way). If obamma manages to utilize his acorn/union worshipers with their illegal votes, and wins his reelection(gag), then the 2nd is the first thing he'll go after. And there will be a lot of his worshipers, a few on this board, that will gladly join in lock-step with him, even turning on their friends, family and neighbors to fulfill his grand plan of ruining this nation.
