Soaring gasoline prices have turned into a major worry for many Americans. And the Obama administration is largely to blame, Republicans on the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform contend in a report. “Key Obama administration figures have expressed a belief that Americans should pay more for energy — a pattern of actions shows the Administration is, in fact, pursuing an agenda to raise the price Americans pay for energy,” according to the report, released Monday.

The problem isn't that you're paying too much. It's obviously that you're paying too little. Because were exporting gasoline. Refineries are exporting gasoline to other countries because they'll pay more than we do. That's just good business,capitalism. Why would a refinery sell gasoline to you at $3.50 a gallon. When you can sell it for four dollars a gallon to some other country. As a stockholder I don't care where the gasoline is sold as long as my profits are up.

Obama said everyone should be driving fuel efficient compact cars. I live on acreage, move trailers, haul large items, need 4x4 for snow and mud, haul livestock trailers, do construction. My livelyhood depends on my full size 1 ton Chevy truck. Obama wants be to drive a flexi fuel prius and turn me into a one man gay parade????

The guy is out of touch big time. The little flex fuel cars are made of plastic. Plastic comes from oil. Obama is a clear and present danger to the USA!
