question

how do you remove the loctite once it is placed on the barrel? is heating necessary? my strut slipped without it, so i gues i'll have to locktite. i will not drill the gas block. thanks for your help.

I've never had a problem removing Loctite off a barrel surface with a little alcohol. Heat is generally only be used to break the seal of stronger types of Loctite (i.e. Red or green), like removing a stubborn machine screw.

one thing i have done for heat is to boil the pistol in water ! some have told me that i am crazy , but i already know that !

so, the loctite you supply with your kits should come off by applying alcohol?
