Can you tell me what material your clamp is made out of? Your description lists aluminum and stainless steel but doesn't say which part is which. What does the 5.5" for the tapered barrels weigh? Is there anyway to buy just the clamp pieces?

Mo-Rod custom clamps are made from 6061 alloy, which is commonly referred to as aluminum, even though it is an alloy. All of our rods, including those that are finished in satin black, are made from stainless steel. The rod + 2 clamps comes to approximately 7 oz. in total weight. We make a variety of clamps, and 3 different rod lengths, so the weight will vary just slightly from one setup to another.

We do not sell just our clamps because they are made specifically for our rods. We sell the two clamps plus the rod as a package.

if i need replacement parts do i need to send in the damaged ones? When I tested it the first time i did not notice that it started slipping... until it had slipped off the gas block, deeply gauging it in the process. I don't blame the company or product for that at all, that was completely my fault for letting it go that far. When i got home I asked a friend to put in the second set screw so i could clean the guns, I'm not sure if he cross threaded it or if there was too much loctite but that screw is stuck good, stripped out and seemingly not far into the threads to even grip the block

I suppose what I'm asking is how do I go about getting a new rod and screws? I ordered it when Kelly was still selling them direct on Ebay. I really love the performance my mini gets with this addition so im determined to make it work.

Mine wouldn't tighten up good enough neither and I called and he had his machinist make me some new ones and mailed them too me faster than I mailed mine back.

It might be nice to have one of the brakes without the sight for those of use who use a scope only. Your product is the best I have seen for a break.

It might be nice to have one of the brakes without the sight for those of use who use a scope only.
We sure considered it, but there are a multitude of brakes already on the market, so we decided to fill a void in the market and offer our combination unit. As for mounting on a scoped rifle, the Mo-Reaper's hooded sight does not obscure the sight picture.

Thanks...In addition to performance, aesthetics are important to us also. We landed on our final design after extensive testing and "tweaking" of the Mo-Reaper until we arrived at the current design. We appreciate the positive feedback!
