Where did you get it, and how well does it fit? How does it feel compared to the stock(s) you may have had on it?

That looks killer, I Ordered mine today. Can you get a co-witness with the mbus and eotech? I am looking to do the same kind of thing.

Fit and finish are top notch! Tight tolerances and it feels solid. I have had this in a Tapco stock prior and I think its superior. It does feel heavier, but its not enough to detract me.

It will cowitness with the eotech if it is mounted directly, but on my setup I use .86 inch risers so I can mount my scope as well. The scope base I have is to low to mount without hitting the backup rear sight even when folded down without the risers.

Nice choice on the stock, overall that whole rifle looks great!

Hey Rockman, I snagged a 7/8" riser base with QD knobs for the same situation. This way, I can pull the riser/scope as a unit and my red dot will co-witness without issue.

That is one spectacular looking stock to assemble a mini in!! I need to get me one for sure.

But on the whole Rockman have you noticed any thing that has been improved over what stock you had on before? More comfortable to shoot? Obviously easier for mounting optics I am sure. I would almost prefer this over some AR-15's I have. On A Looks only basis.

I know a lot of old timers hate the whole "tactical" or "tacticool" look.. but that's the point.. because it looks cool. And as long as it still functions and does the job, who really cares if it is "Tacti-cool" .. isn't that the point?? For each and everyone of us to own whatever gun we choose, and however we want it to look?? That's the beauty of out 2nd Amendment !! We can own 100 different guns or we can own 100 of the same exact gun. It doesn't matter. Our collections are just that.. Ours!!

But This is something to me (The Sparta) is not only "Tacti-cool" but also serves a better purpose by having that adaptability to make the Mini-14 that much more of a tool of Self-Defense, or for LE & Military applications. Sorry I am ranting...

Thanks for showing this off, It has definitely set me in motion to pick one up and convert my Mini to this... (but instead of the Eotech I am itching to get that new Kruger 1-8x40mm DTS Scope.. yes it's pricey but good glass IS expensive)..

I find it much more ergonomic than the OE type stocks. That old "Deer Hunter" twisted wrist just doesn't suit me. I also like the pistol grip much more than the Choate and Tapco types. It's almost A2 in it's feel.

The realignment of the barrel with your shoulder means it comes straight back, with less muzzle rise.

The fore-end fills your hand and keeps your fingers away from the operating rod.

It's not a folder or a true M$ collapsible stock, but it has a nice adjustment range for length of pull and the bouns cheek weld has seven positions.

The rail is longer than an M4 flat top. It's right there with the monolith crowd.

Well worth $200 and made in the USA.

It think the brass is hitting the rail some, but not in an adverse way. I plan to reload and haven't seen much of concern.

mini 30 tactical rocks just got mine last month ordered 15 20 round mags and 3 5 rounders and 2000 rounds of brass case boxer primed to keep it happy and runnin smooth (i did 40 + hours reading on it reviews pros and joes alike me before deciding) i got a mod rod commin dont know if i need it or not im sure it will definatly help with heat as far as groups this is my first mini a 581 series came from factory jan 17 (i got to pick between 3 serial #s Anyway i put 400 rounds cheap brass stuff through it at 150 yards (irons) and keepin them in a soft ball size circle thats pretty much right straight untill i had to fill some of the mags back up. first 50 75 rounds had a few failures to cycle then she ran like a brick ****house. ive read they need breakin in and i intend to do so as soon as snow lets up as well as the cold weather. to heck with the ars (except rugers) lol JK i love this mini

I saw the Sparta stock mentioned in another thread, and then while Googling for more info (price, etc.) found this thread. If those are as "user-friendly" and durable as they look, I want one.
Are any of you guys using a three-point sling or something similar on yours?

And if you look so tacticool that the bad guys give up without you having to fire a single shot, that's a Good Thing.
