OK. Now you got my interest . What is the thread size? Also I assume that crush or peel washers will be needed to index the assembly. If I choose to go this route and install this combo I will have to slide my sight off leaving me with a notch where the roll pin went through. I had my barrel chopped and threaded 1/2x28.

What is the thread size? The tactical shown has 9/16-28 threads, but it doesn't matter. The same Mo-Reaper unit will fit on a Mini with 1/2" threads as well.

I had my barrel chopped and threaded 1/2x28. Hmmm...So, it wasn't a factory tactical barrel to start with? Was it the newer tapered barrel?

Answer. It is a 186xxx chopped to 17", then threaded. I understand now your reaper will just go over the existing threads. As a side note note I see on TFL you picked up the new Ruger 1911. How is it so far??? It is definitly on my radar........................Joe
