Factory Tactical "Mo-Reaper" Style

We modified our product to fit the shorter threaded barrels offered on the Ruger Factory Tactical Mini-14's...

OK. Now you got my interest . What is the thread size? Also I assume that crush or peel washers will be needed to index the assembly. If I choose to go this route and install this combo I will have to slide my sight off leaving me with a notch where the roll pin went through. I had my barrel chopped and threaded 1/2x28.

Hey Joe...OK, let's see here...

What is the thread size? The tactical shown has 9/16-28 threads, but it doesn't matter. The same Mo-Reaper unit will fit on a Mini with 1/2" threads as well.

I assume that crush or peel washers will be needed to index the assembly. Nah...

If I choose to go this route and install this combo, I will have to slide my sight off, leaving me with a notch where the roll pin went through. No worries...The Reaper uses the same roll pin slot.

I had my barrel chopped and threaded 1/2x28. Hmmm...So, it wasn't a factory tactical barrel to start with? Was it the newer tapered barrel?

Answer. It is a 186xxx chopped to 17", then threaded. I understand now your reaper will just go over the existing threads. As a side note note I see on TFL you picked up the new Ruger 1911. How is it so far??? It is definitly on my radar........................Joe

I'm sure we can set you up on that customized barrel, Joe. Send me an email. As for the SR1911, sweeeet. After all, it's made in Arizona, where all the good stuff is, right?
