CQB Mini-14
A lot of my friends use and like the AR, I wanted to build a Mini that could spank an AR.

Chopped barrel
PWS FSC556
SOCOM Accu-Strut
GunDoc trigger job
Custom mag release lever
Primary Arms M3
Weigand 1-Piece Weaver-Style Scope Base
Ruger factory 20 round mags

She's almost done.

I'm seeing a gas block front sight, is there a rear? Is that the PWSFSC? 18" barrel? Is that 45's mag release? 580 series? Nice work. I have a Choate hand guard as well, they really make the rifle.

The rear sight is the factory Ranch folded down, it can fold up with the Weigand mount but you really can't use it until the rail is removed.

Yup, it's a PWSFSC, nice little brake and the letter from ATF saying it's not a flash hider helps in California!

GunDoc cut it down to 16.5 and threaded the muzzle for the PWCFSC.

That's the mag release developed right here on PU, damn that thing kicks butt!

It's a 196 series, several years ago GunDoc did a trigger job on it when I won his Christmas giveaway here on PU.

Other than the factory wood handguard I think the Choate one gives the Mini the cleanest lines. But those all wood mini's look sweet!

Looks good, I just got my accu-strut from KKINA installed a coupled days ago.

I'm in the same boat, my buddies all sport the AR's too.
