Sorry for taking so long to answer. I don't frequent this site much anymore. In any case I used a Mossberg ghost ring rear and the accompanying front. I thoroughly cleaned, degreased, and steel wooled the barrel and front site bottom. I filled the front site void with J B Weld and aligned over the bead onto the barrel. I then carefully cleaned any excess around the edges of the site (vinegar works well) and let the gun sit level for 48 hours. More cleaning the area and a little cold blue and it was good to go. 200 plus buckshot and slug with no problems. Hope this helps for any future projects you may have.
Greetings Risasi, I guess I accidently turned off my private messaging, sorry about that, drop me a line if you get this so that I know I turned it back on properly, Thanks!
