It's a good way for them to get around their liability fears and get parts replaced without making so many people mad. let's face it, if a Mini goes to DOC with a broken FP and he has done a trigger job, he's going to leave the trigger in the gun and replace the FP only.
I'm not posting this out of respect to the gunsmiths who have been contacted, I'll let them decide if they want to get in bed with Ruger or not and nothing has been finalized yet. Ruger reps are going out to talk with the smiths.
Keep it under your hat and let's see what happens.
maybe all my calls to Ruger and then aftermarket company's who have the capacity of making the restricted parts has got Ruger's notice and they don't want to loose control of parts in their guns. I'm kinda liking this. The power of the internet.
