That looks great. How much was it? How does it shoot? How's the mag release?

It looks the same as this:
Products

As far as you can tell, are they different products?

Sorry for all the questions.

Thanks and all are good questions.

It shoots great - did you watch the video?
I installed a Sadlak mag release and it is a must have item on the Rogue.
The only thing the Rogue shares with the other product is the rubber butt pad, that and the Rogue is available and ready to ship... I don't think the other ever got off the ground.

Thanks for the info. I'm really liking the idea of a bullpup...but that's just so much money.

I added Leupold glass as soon as my tall rings arrived from SEI.

Everything fits into this 29" Homeland Security discreet carry case from Blackhawk.

I added a 3.5 MOA Insight mRDS on a GEN 2 Burkett JP/DOC OffSet Mount for targets that are close-in.

That is so sexy, one of these days I'll be able to afford one, one of these days. Until then I'll dream and drool over yours.

Exclamation Bullpup M14 Optics

This continues HERE

Mounting optics on the 15.25 inches of top rail you get with the Rogue bullpup chassis has been a challenge for me. I found that the reticule needed to sit up high, higher than I'm used to... finding the eye relief sweet spot was also a challenge.

I tried several different combinations and the one pictured below seems to meet/exceed my wants and needs. Magpul MBUS - Gen II, LaRue Tactical LT608, Aimpoint CompC-2X 2MOA, EOTech FTS 3X magnifier - Gen II.
* The MBUS required some work with a file to fit... this was an easy modification.

I am able to co-witness the MBUS through the Aimpoint and I will eventually have an Aimpoint Comp M4s for my bullpup.

Updated and reconfigured, pictured here with JTac's new 2" recoil pad
extension with a built-in mono pod rail. This item adds 14 ounces of weight.
Leupold Mark 4 1.5-5x20mm MR/T in SEI's LOW wire EDM rings on a LaRue
Tactical LT608 with Gen II Magpul MBUS.

I have no plans to shoot this configuration from a prone position with a
bi-pod and it's plenty heavy before adding the extension so I have
removed the extension and gone back to my original configuration.

Word on the street is that JTactical took my advice and reduced the weight of their 2nd generation Rogue conversion kit, unfortunately they only reduced it by a few ounces (less than a pound) - not enough to make a meaningful difference, but it's a step in the right direction... the 2nd generation Rogue kit is still more than a pound HEAVIER than a SAGE Mod 1 stock.

The ROGUE bullpup conversion, in my opinion, may be a decent range toy rifle set-up,
but it has no place in a working rifle role. The SAGE EBR is a better choice in a working rifle role.

IMHO, the worst thing about JTactical/Juggernaut Tactical is their total lack of professionalism... Dino & Zack are dishonest.

......

The Rogue conversion kit is an interesting option for a few owners of the M14/M1A rifle. Mag changes become slow & problematic and the bullpup configuration is not user friendly to left handed shooters.
