Just thought I would throw in the good ole POLY TECH she is a good one just gotta get a new stock and then I will repark her at home and she will be sexy as can be. I will post pics as soon as possible.

Yeah I got a Polytech M-14 it is a good gun. Every time I try and get an M-1A or some thing like it, its a many months wait and the money available runs away so I have to keep using the "Interim" gun, that has been a long "Interim" so far! Almost recently sold it but I didn't have another one to replace it...so I decided to keep it. Its got deer, moose, elk, black bear and a few SHTF things. The main reason I got it really. Its just a basic model but still shoots great and I figure any younger cousin or sibling I get it in the future still can share its mags. Its a great brush gun to!

I have several Poly Tech M14s and two Norinco M14s. Great rifles out of the box and excellent to build on.

I keep cash set aside just in case another great deal pops up on a Poly Tech... I've got a line on one right now

What about incorrect headspace on the Polytechs? Plus hardness on the bolt face, I have heard/read that they can be problematic.

It is best that a qualified M14 Armorer perform a GI bolt conversion, better safe than sorry.

BTW, I've read that Fulton Armory bolts are soft - Caveat Emptor
