Well, I bought an Auto Ordinance M1A1 carbine back in december. fun, light little gun! The wood left something to desire, but it ran. several weeks ago, it developed a 5'' crack in the stock in front of the mag well...

AO replaced the stock and handguard, and paid for shipping both ways. The stock they replaced with is absolutely stunning! Dark grained, with definitive stripes throughout both stock and handguard. my apologies for the pics, the lighting was terrible, and I only had my cell phone. I shall have to post more!

in any case, to anyone who is thinking about picking one of these up, I heartily recommend it. It runs anything brass cased through KCI mags without a hitch

she's a touch over 5 pounds. Light enough that I haven't noticed it when out hiking with it slung over my back. I can't say that all AO wood comes out like this, but when it does...
