Women, girls taking up guns, shooting in higher numbers

There was once a time when women knew how to use a firearm just like men. But it seems that over the past few decades shooting for women has become a lost art.

Was at the range on Saturday with my oldest daughter ...a loose estimate of the folks there indicated about 40% women. They are taking classes and accompanying their spouses and boyfriends..It is an important skill to hone in these dangerous times...totally anecdotal I know, but it is obvious every time I go to the range or a gun show that women are making heir presence known.
