O' what a reality check ... the cost these days
My sons got me back into my guns after a few years away.
Deeper I dig into the 30+ years of stashing away stuff and find buying the same now days how far the prices of being a gun enthusest have gone.
My heydays were @ 1978 and next 10+ years.
Here is some interesting PRICING facts that I have found recently.
Pounds of powder ( Unique/3031/4350 etc ... ) @ $9-$13
Primers ( Small or large pistol/Rifle ) @ $1.19 per 100
Bullets ( Pistol or Rifle .224/6mm/.38 & .45 ) @ $6-$8 per 100
So in 30 years, Powder has @ doubled or more in price, Primers tripled in price with Bullets double too triple.
Cost of life in general this past 30 years has done near 10 fold inflation making reloading still a bargain looking at it in this way
Just sharing my thoughts .....
