Sons of Guns

This might be the most BS reality show i have ever seen. Tonight, they invented a new rifle. the AR-15.

using everyone elses parts, selling for 1800 bucks. and its just a standard car looking thing.

Yeah I'm not a big fan of it either. The weapons they work with are usually of little interest to me and they usually end up doing a bunch of dumb **** to them.

When I saw the adds for it I had very high hopes. How could this idea possibly get screwed up? My thought was if they could show some behind the scenes aspects and "mainstream" a show all about guns to the masses, then how could it go wrong? Then I watched 2 or 3 shows and lost all interest. Between the goofy daughter and the manufactured drama between the gunsmiths, I found it unwatchable.

I only watched a couple of shows and didn't care for it much. I think most of the "reality" shows end up making the people in them look foolish, but that's just my opinion.

I don't know anything about Red Jacket Arms except they have a pretty good reputation when it comes to building AK's and suppressors. I have read that the shop you see is not the shop where they do the vast majority of their work. It's my understanding from reading posts on the net that they have a larger staff working on guns in another building.

I suspect that what we see on most of these "reality" programs is the result of the producers of the show. I am guessing they stage things for drama and effect.

Will Hayden and his mutt of a daughter Stephanie lost their FFL's due to ten guns gone missing and were working under Vince Buckles license. That show has lots of issues going on and Red Jacket Firearms might be going away in the near future. Their AK's seem to be pretty good but high priced. Their AR's are nothing special and again your paying much money for a name that might not be around in the future. These guys are a bunch of bozos. I can't believe that they take their guns out to field tests and do not have spare parts kits with them.

i watch for entertainment value. my lgs has some red jacket ak's and i was not impressed for the 1500 price tag. also they built a ar for the guys guarding nuke facilities. a piston ar didnt hk and others do that years ago? the hozilla gun what a waste i could put those optics on my fal and do the same thing. the only thing i like is when they restore old military items .

i dont blame vince for leaving now that the village idiot is nailing the boss's daughter his future there is a dead end.
