Has anyone had the pleasue to shoot any of the older Mossberg 22's?
I fell into a a 46A and had to have a 44US.
They are absolutely a blast with accuracy too.

5 shots with the 46A and a Tasco 6x24x44 @ 50 ft. benchrest.

I've been collecting Mossberg twentytwo rifles for about ten years now, along with other brands.
So far, I have:
Model 34 singleshot bolt action.
Model 320BB singleshot bolt action (very accurate, was used by Boy Scouts as trainer/target rifle.)
Model 42M bolt action, mannlicher stock. Very excellent shooter!
Model 146B bolt action, tube magazine (my prime 'squirrel rifle', rebuilt from a rusty ruin.)
Model 152 semiauto carbine - started my 'addiction'.
Model 640KD in .22WMR (pretty but not as accurate as I hoped).

I still cruise the gunshops and gunshows looking for an M44, M144LSA/LSB, and the elusive Model L.

I admit - I'm a Mossaholic . . .
