Mixing metals?
Doc, is there going to be a problem permanently attaching a carbon flash hider to a stainless barrel? Also if I want to use dark screws on the outside but a stainless liner do we have to paint the stainless screws or can I just buy blue ones and crank them in. We welded the two metals together in the shop and I couldn't beat them apart but I think gun steel is different, since a magnet sticks to my stainless mini. Still trying to get everything together and in a box, the parts from Lee Hadaway look great.

There won't be an issue with this application. Galvanic reactions are an issue in some applications, such as aerospace, but the Ruger will be fine.

It's on the way, dropped it by a Joneboro gun shop today for shipping. Sent the check by U.S.P.S. Decided if somebody steals my gun they don't need my checking acct. #.
