A couple of caveats -
If the sights are properly regulating right now and have some adjustment left, and the barrel isn't cut too short - yes.
What happens is this - if the sights are already at their maximum adjustment in either plane, the shorter radius (distance between them) MAY create an issue. In general barrels cut to 17 or 17.5 inches (factory is 18.5) work out fine, but going to 16 or under can be an issue.
I remove the sight and barrel, do the work I need to and then depending on the 580 barrel I open up the ID of the sight to fit back on, or machine a shelf in the barrel on the newer tapered barrels to reinstall the sight like the factory did. I repin it and off it goes. So as long as we address the sight issue, it's an easy and quick job that works well.
