When I visited Paris, I had to try that. They weren't bad at all, but I wouldn't put them at the top of my list of favorite foods. I'm still not quite sure what snail itself tastes like, though, because the garlic was the prevailing flavor.
I really enjoyed the visit. First day there I went to Notre Dame right at opening time, and there were very few people there. I was truly astonished. Got to climb to the top, too, an experience not to be missed.
