Sorry to say that I can’t join in on the Ted Nugent love-fest. His jerky, juvenile attitude makes him a frightfully bad spokesman for the shooting sports and Second Amendment crowd, and it’s embarrassing that he actually got elected (apparently on name recognition alone) to the NRA board of directors.
Of course, we’re never going to convince the hardliner anti-gun types, regardless of whom we present as a spokesman, but Nugent’s behavior is the very kind that drives fence-sitters over to the other side. He’s a colorful character, for sure - but I’m afraid that he’s also a liability to our cause.

I love the Nuge's music. I also think he does a decent job of talking politics. But his forum sucks. I was heartily chastized by some members for my dislike of game wardens. Very weird,the game warden worship that goes on there.
