RIP Bob Owens

https://bearingarms.com/jenn-j/2017/...re-diminished/

When I first read the report this morning, I was hoping it was fake news. Looks like its not.

RIP Mr Owens.

Yeah, I saw that last night. Another great loss - and at the young age of 46.

More Information? ...

I apologize that I did not know this man. Apparently he died very young at 46? Do we have any more information about this? My condolences to the family and his friends.

Regular reader of Bearing Arms and very sad to see this. Thanks Bob for all you provided to the pro 2A fight. Death was suicide.

A tragedy, to be sure. We'll never know what drove him to do this.

Suicide? ...

Just asking. I, as a lowly underling, can still imagine the very very high stakes in The Game Of Thrones. Very major league hard ball. Just thinking out loud.

In all likelihood you're right, though the unwanted thought came to me that perhaps he had been given a terminal illness diagnosis, one of the ones with no treatment. It takes real strength to keep on going when you know that its all going to end soon, and ugly. Been through that with family members and its always a kind of hell for everyone.

But we'll never really know, so speculating is pointless.

Right now the lefties are in their form of heaven, joyously making obscene speculations ranging all over the board, with only one thing in common - they are politically useful in their antigun agenda and drag the deceased and his family through the mud. There are no words allowed on this forum strong enough to describe how much I despise the leftards at the moment.

We will never know why he decided to do what he did, so there is really no point in speculating, but it is really ****ing me off to see the leftards do their blood dance.

Grumpy, I'm close to the terminal illness point, though probably not as imminent as Bob was - if that is the case. I could never choose Bob's exit due to my beliefs. Ever. But I can understand how he might have reached that decision.

The "tolerant" left is a disgrace. Bob did not die in vain, as the disgraceful comments of the left highlight to regular Americans what a disgrace they are.

I will miss his posts.
