ATactical A1S Flashlight Review

Doing a review of the ATactical A1S flashlight. It survived all the test and lived up to the name of ATactical.

Brightness settings:
  • 24 lumens
  • 140 lumens
  • 460 lumens
  • 1,150 lumens
  • strobe 1,150 lumens

The flashlight has a setting where it flashes SOS in morse code.

The flashlight was used to drive two 12 penny nails through a pressure treated 2x4, dropped several times on a cross tie from a height of about 4 feet, ran over with a truck, tossed in a creek for 3 hours.

The light never even had a hic-hup.

The battery is a 3400 mah, 12.24wh, 3.6v and is rechargeable through a micro-usb port on the side of the battery. While charging, the battery shows a red led. When charged the battery goes to a green led.

I just ordered one of these from Amazon. Will be in on the 15th. What I liked is that you can recharge and that you can also replace the battery (so you can carry a spare). It has a five star rating. Thanks for the review Kevin. Can't have enough quality flash lights.

Light came in today. Never have enough quality flashlights. Can't find how to order a space battery from the maker. Although they are listed on the site, you can only add to the wish list. The switch is on the bottom for on and off. Their is another switch to rotate through the settings. Very nice. Excellent review Kevin. Thanks.

Its sweet. I was showing it to my son yesterday and telling him he needs one. I was thinking of ordering another two to put one in each of my girls cars. Whats really nice is that the switch for the modes (bright, brighter, brightest, and blicky) is separate from the on/off switch. It would be nice if it has a focus function for the light.
