best ever mosin mount, help identify

i was at the range today and saw the coolest mosin scope mount, it is side mount and seemed to work well, the only thing is it does not have a name on it and the guy could not remember where he got it off the net, but he said it was around 50 bucks. i would use short rings though. please help identify, as i really would really love to have one. i know with surplus ammo it almost isn't worth putting a scope on but my reloads are another story. at 100 surplus is around 8 inches, but my reloads are half that and if i could use a scope it would even be better. i have a m44 with a great bore and ati stock.

Looking for something like this also. Did the bolt clear the stock or was the bolt handle aftermarket? I want to get my 91/30 on the bench without a scout set up. If I see anything like this i'll be sure to post back here for you.

the bolt was bent handle, the guy made his own with a stainless steel bolt and a little welding, he cut the handle off and welded the knob back on. i just wish who ever made the mount, stamped their name in it.

Looks like something made for another rifle that was forced to fit a mosin... I've heard of people putting PSL and AK mounts on mosins, could it be something like that?

finally found it
Mosin-Nagant Low Profile Side Combo rail w/ Longer 140 mm Weaver rail - Other, Mosin, Mauser - Mounts

the guy in the pic has his at an angle over the gun to make it center over the reciver but it is designed to be strait up and down so you do not have to use a different bolt handle, it puts it at a 3/4 to 1 inch offset to the left

Ha!!! FORGET about it. The Chinese have come up with a replica of the ORIGINAL Russian Mosin-Nagant sniper rifle scope. Mosin-Nagant sniper rifles are selling for $500 wholesale. But these scopes are going for $149. Just discovered them the other day at two places, Sportsman's Guide and Centerfire Systems.

Centerfire Systems, Inc.

How are you supposed to get a proper cheek-weld with such a HIGH MOUNTED optic?!?!? I would think you would have to add a 2" pad to increase the comb height...
