Put the boat in the shop of pre-spring checkup

After having some issues with my boat 2 weeks ago, I decided to have it put in the shop for a check up. The motor is an Evinrude 30 horse that is about 16 or 17 years old. My dad bought it back around 1994 or 1995 before he gave the boat to me.

Things I am having done

Change the impeller
Change oil in lower unit
Change the plugs
Check/change the fuel filter

The boat also needs a new battery, but I will pick one of those up after I get the boat back. The battery on there right now is 4+ years old, its gotten to where it will not hold a charge.

Got the boat out of the shop today, total cost was $415.

The boat had been difficult to start for the past year or so. Come to find out, the power pack was going out.

Now I just need a new battery and the boat will be ready for spring fishing season.
