Oregon fishing

Here now in Oregon we are in the last weeks of spring salmon fishing. Even with all the excess water in the rivers it hasn't been too bad, I have been lucky enough to pull in fish every trip. Here is a couple of samples of what we are getting this time of year

We often go after white sturgeon if the salmon fishing is slow or we limit out early on salmon. We cannot keep any sturgeon over 5', we often target the 8 & 9 footers or bigger for catch and release when we want a real tussle. All of these fish are caught within 10 minutes by boat of downtown Portland.
