Hey, Y'all.

Im gonna be in Red River, N.M. next week and plan on fishing the lower Red before it meets the Rio Grande.

Last time I fished for trout was when I was growing up in Utah. We used Zebco33s with small hooks and corn/ salmon eggs.

I am taking my favorite spinreel.


Are common jigs/roadrunners workable? I am talking about the smaller sized ones.

Any other advice welcome.
