Not sure what's going on with this site, but this post has definitely got me concerned.
What I have found out, using a search of domain names, that the current owner has the registration hidden by using a domain proxy service, with keeps the owner anonymous.
Compare this to other popular forum sites; the owners of the AR15.com site has a full page proudly presenting their objective and their names. The owner of SKSBoards.com lists his name in the domain registration. The theCMP.org site make no reservation about its purpose. The PAFOA.org owner is up front and makes his position public, proudly.
Whoever is making the changes here is, at best, cloudy. I would think that a new owner would be proud to take up a position of leadership, and share with us his outlook and vision for this site. Or at least, introduce the new administration team.
But without an announcement, all one can do is to speculate and guess.
I would feel a lot more comfortable if it was known that the site was owned by a private individual, who shares his vision with the posting community.
will you at least check in when i try out your challenge? i was gearing up to give it a shot around spring break! hell, i might fail miserably and then you would be obligated to drop by and give me a hard time...
of course, if i do it......you might wanna stay gone!
I'm a little confused, (which really isn't out of the ordinary) but didn't Bill introduce the new Owner/Admin back in December, AKA: Kevin Felts? I checked out SurvivalistBoards.com, and some of the vids on Youtube and it all seemed alright. What do you need, a statement of core values? Am I missing something? There have been some changes, and it's a little harder to find somethings, but as long as the members are still here, so is the core knowledge of the mini! Just my opinion. Take care!

This is not unusual, particularly for domain owners who don't have a business address. Otherwise, literally anyone can find a domain owner's address and phone number in ten seconds. Not wanting that info to be public for the entire world to see isn't suspicious.

The AR is nice, for a "modular tactical weapons system". But I like how the Mini-14's radical and innovative design combines the charging handle, gas piston and forward assist into a single part.

Excuse me but I've been away for about six weeks and holy shi*te, this place has changed!
I got in trouble a few times when Bill owned it but I respected him and the forum enough to stay onboard. I'm not a high post count guy but I love this place too much to not stick around and see how it goes.

Give me a break guys! Steve was a great asset at one point to the site but has been nothing but a Ruger basher and a pot stirrer for months.... Please show me his last actual informative post? He checked out months ago, long before the site changed hands!
