M1 refinish

Can someone please recomend a good book covering stock refinishing? I own an M1 Garand with some stock issues. the stock is in good condition but all of the wood does not match colorwise.I would like the stock to appear original,much like a WWII model. The CMP staff are pretty much the experts on USGI rifles. The link is an excellent review of the various stocks, wood types, finishes, etc. on USGI rifles, along with step-by-step on refinishing them properly. I've used their techniques to refinish a half-dozen or so mil-surps (both U.S. and foreign) and the results are great.
Lots of other good M1 Garand info on the CMP website, too.
