Just back from local gun show.Prices are still too high for AK'S $600.00 and up,buy the same AK for $450.00 over the net. I was surprised that there was 4 Russian SKS there. I have not seen them before or I ignored them and this time I was actively seeking them out! One asking price was $500.00 there was not a single matching serial # on the whole rifle! Ran from it. Found another nice Tula for $400.00 all # matched but no extra funds Other two were for $400.00 each. A couple of Norinco SKS mint condition no rust looked like right out of the box for $380.00 and $375.00. As I was leaving after 3 hours a guy walked in with a mint Norinco asking price $400. but he said he open to offer again no extra funds but at least I learned about current prices, ammo was a little cheaper $140. for 200 rd Winchester .308 so looking beter perhaps by this fall when kids are back in school prices will continue to fall! There is a shop up my way that also has a mint Norinco SKS still with greace all over it, also asking $380.

I saw some of those crazy AK's. I think I saw one for 8-900's. I thought I saw some fair priced M1A/m14's. There was a national match M1A for $1700 and a nice LRB for 2200. I thought I found a deal when a guy had a rack that had stocks for $20 per stock and I saw a laminated Mini stock. Then when I picked it up I saw someone had started to whack the end off it and gave up. It broke my heart cause it would of looked great on my Mini.
